Scaling for Success: Topps Company scores big with SnapFulfil
The Challenge
The Topps Company’s paper-based warehouse system couldn’t keep up with rapid growth and an ever-expanding product range. It was struggling to ship 500 orders a day.
Topps needed a WMS that could support growth, keep the total cost of ownership low, adapt to new e-commerce requirements, and change quickly without expensive change orders or consultants.
The Solution
After reviewing several vendors, Topps chose SnapFulfil as part of a wider project to improve supply chain efficiency and cut costs. Close integration with its Oracle ERP was critical, and SnapFulfil offered multiple integration routes to Oracle and Topps’ e-commerce site. Reconfigurable workflow, fast ROI and a low total cost of ownership sealed the decision.
The Impact
With SnapFulfil in place, the same five warehouse operatives now ship between 1,200 and 1,800 orders a day, up from 500. Topps has streamlined its workflows, lowered IT costs and improved customer service. It renewed its SnapFulfil contract after three years.
