How to Remove Picked Inventory from a Shipment
Sometimes picked inventory needs to be removed from a shipment. When this happens, a stock transfer is required to remove stock from the pick tote.
1) From the inventory topic stock by location or stock by STU screen > click show actions> transfer.
2) Drag in the tote lines and choose the new pick location per item and click action. At this point, the stock has been removed from the tote.
4) Now the stock needs to be physically placed into the location it was transferred to via step 3.
If you have a SPIM tote and not all shipments have been cancelled:
1) From the Inventory topic>Stock by storage unit or location screens do a search for the STU in question.
2) Click the 'Show Actions' button and select 'Divide STU'.
3) When the pop-up screen is displayed, drag ONLY the cancelled shipment into the box.
4) The following fields need populating
• New StU – This can be any Id (e.g. current STUID + the letter A)
• StT – This should be ‘TOT’
• New Slot – Enter a value of ‘STAGING’
• New Qty – This should be ‘1’
5) Once the information has been entered, click the ‘Action’ button and confirm ‘Yes’ when prompted. At this point, the shipment has been removed from the SPIM tote.
Now the Tote and stock need to be de-assigned from the shipment, then transferred back to the pick location to remove the stock from the tote.
6) De-assign: From the same inventory screen > locate the new tote ID> click Show Actions> de-assign
7) Transfer: Once de-assigning is done click show actions>transfer>choose the pick location and action.
8) Now the stock needs to be physically placed into the location it was transferred to via step 7.
