Fill Strategies

Below is an explanation of what the Fill Strategies mean in the Zones tab of the Warehouse set-up (Master Data - Site)

1st Slot                                              - Sorts the locations in sequence

Within Bays                                       - Sorts the Locations in Bay Sequence

Across Bays - Each SKU                     - Locates across Bays in Bay Sequence for each SKU
                                                             i.e. Sorts the Locations depending on where the SKU was previously put
                                                             The aim is to spread the SKU across the Bays

Across Bays - All SKUs                       - Locates across Bays in Bay Sequence for any SKU
                                                             i.e. Sorts the Locations depending on where any SKU was previously put
                                                             The aim being to spread stock across the Bays
