FAQ - RF Error: Invalid Stock Status
Quick Guide to Understand the RF Invalid Stock Status Error
When picking, you may see the following message on a hand held :
'Invalid Stock Status', the stock you have Picked has a Status.
Please return the Stock to its position.
Press Enter to Continue.
This means the Stock being picked has had its Status changed to something other than what is expected.
For example:
- Product A has been tasked against shipment A.
- Product A’s status is changed from Good to Held.
- The pick task for Product A is then actioned.
If there is other Stock of a good Status available to be picked for the Shipment, another Task will be created.
Otherwise, there will be a Shortage against the Shipment, which will need to be handled in line with your company's policy.
